-The Omega 3 (EPA and DHA) fatty acids essences which the body has no ability to synthesize, so they have to be obtained from the food. The main sources of omega 3 are fatty fish (such as sardines, anchovies, salmon) and certain vegetable oils (rape, nut, soy, among others). The eye is naturally rich in omega 3, specifically the DHA which plays an important role for visual functioning.

-Anti-oxidants (vitamins C, E, Zinc and Copper) protect the cells against the aggression of free radicals. They also help protect cells against oxidative stress. Zinc is found naturally in high concentrations in the eye and contributes to the maintenance of normal vision.
