1) Who we are & how to contact us

2) Data we collect

We collect information in three ways:

  1. Provided by you (e.g., account data, payment details, support messages, forms).
  2. Automatically (e.g., device info, IP, usage analytics, cookies, crash logs).
  3. From third parties (e.g., authentication/SSO providers, marketing partners, public sources).

3) How we use data

We do not use sensitive categories of personal data unless lawfully required and with appropriate safeguards.

4) Sharing & disclosures

We share data with:

  • Service providers (cloud hosting, analytics, support, payment processing) bound by contracts.
  • Affiliates and corporate transactions (mergers, acquisitions) with safeguards.
  • Legal and safety where required by law or to protect rights.

We do not sell personal information. We may share aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you.

5) Cookies & tracking technologies

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to remember settings, authenticate users, analyze traffic, and show relevant content. You can manage cookies via your browser settings or through our consent banner.

6) Legal bases (EEA/UK)

7) Your rights

  • Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
  • Object to or restrict processing; port your data.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

8) Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect your data (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls, audits). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9) Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with legal obligations, and to resolve disputes. Criteria include account status, legal requirements, and system limitations (e.g., backups).

10) International transfers

Where data is transferred internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other approved mechanisms and implement supplementary measures as needed.

11) Children

Our services are not directed to children under the age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child provided data, contact us to request deletion.

12) Region-specific notices

California (CCPA/CPRA)

  • We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CPRA. If this changes, we will provide a right to opt-out.
  • You have the right to know, delete, correct, and to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
  • Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with proper authorization.

Virginia/Colorado/Connecticut/Utah, etc.

EEA/UK/Switzerland

You may contact your local supervisory authority. For EEA/UK users, Summerland Plus may appoint an EU/UK representative where required.

13) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices or for legal, technical, or regulatory reasons. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date and, where appropriate, we will notify you by email or in-product notice.
